Details Client Name Henry Ford St. John Hospital Job Type Permanent Offering Physician Profession Cardiology Specialty Electrophysiology Job ID 20477822 Shift Details Shift 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM Scheduled Hours 40 Job Order Details Start Date 08/28/2026 Job Description Henry Ford Health, in partnership with Ascension Medical Group, is seeking a full-time Cardiology Electrophysiologist to join their dynamic Heart Rhythm Institute team, delivering high-quality EP care across metro Detroit, Michigan, with leadership responsibilities and access to advanced technology, teaching opportunities, and strong multidisciplinary collaboration. • Provide outpatient and inpatient cardiac electrophysiology services across Henry Ford St. John Hospital (Detroit) and Henry Ford Warren Hospital (Warren) • Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., with shared call coverage (2:1 ratio) with another EP physician • Travel between multiple practice locations as needed • Perform procedures including pacemaker and defibrillator implants, as well as right- and left-sided ablations • Participate in inpatient rounding during call weeks at multiple hospitals; APP assists with independent rounding at Henry Ford St. John Hospital • Build and manage a patient panel with strong internal referral streams and existing volume • Collaborate with an experienced EP cardiologist, APRN, cardiovascular thoracic surgeons, and a skilled support team • Join a teaching hospital with over 200 residents and 30 fellows, with opportunities to engage in education and mentoring • Contribute to high-acuity patient care in a Level I Trauma Center with advanced cardiac, stroke, and neuro-endovascular program • Use Cerner EMR system (transitioning to Epic in late 2025-early 2026) • No visa sponsorship • No 1099 arrangements CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS • ACLS • BLS • DEA • PALS STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS • Michigan ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS • Board Certified in Cardiology, Board Certified in Cardiac Electrophysiology, Completion of Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowships, Minimum 2-3 years post-fellowship experience preferred Client Details Address 22101 Moross Rd City Grosse Pointe State MI Zip Code 48236
