About the Position Position: Sterile Processing Tech Shift: 5x8s, 3p-11:30a Weekend REQ: Rotating Weekends Call REQ: All Techs will have call at least once every two months. Call Starts 7:00 am Saturday morning until Monday 7:00 am . Will clinician float to meet facility needs? (Y/N): No Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: 2 years First-timers accepted: No Trauma Experience Level Req: Level 1 Experience required:- Sterilization, Decontaminate and assembly/wrap SPT experience, Scope Reprocessing Types of cases (experience) preferred: Neuro, GU, robotics, ENT, ortho, Transplant, GYN National Certs REQ: CBSPD and/or HSPA BLS REQ: not required Miscellaneous Local Radius: 60 miles Locals Accepted: Yes, on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted rate RTO Restrictions: ALL RTO must be provided at time of submission. No RTO will be approved after contract is signed. Approval based on dept needs Guaranteed hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
