Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

In this full-time contract role, you'll work with kindergarten and first-grade students, guiding them through daily learning and developmental milestones. This rewarding opportunity spans the upcoming academic year, from August 13, 2026, to June 3, 2027. Qualifications:
- Active California Moderate/Severe or Extensive Support Needs (ESN) Credential, or currently in the process of obtaining one (required)
- Experience or academic background in teaching children with moderate to severe needs at the elementary level
- Deep commitment to individualized education and inclusive classroom practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction, intervention, and support for a caseload of kindergarten and first-grade students with moderate/severe disabilities
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), collaborating closely with families and related service providers
- Foster an environment that encourages social, emotional, and academic growth tailored to each student’s abilities
- Employ adaptive and evidence-based teaching strategies, utilizing assistive technology and differentiated instruction when appropriate
- Maintain regular documentation, monitor student progress, and participate in ongoing professional development
