Personal Lines Account Executive - Hauppauge, NY | Hybrid

Compensation: $120,000 annually

Overview: Nexus HR is seeking an experienced Premier Private Client Account Executive to join a growing High-Net-Worth personal lines insurance agency. This role is responsible for managing complex HNW accounts, supporting new business and renewals, and delivering a high level of personalized client service.

About the Job

The Account Executive will work closely with the agency principal and clients to manage new business, renewals, policy servicing, coverage reviews, and complex insurance needs. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of HNW personal lines products, excellent client-service skills, and experience working with leading HNW carriers and specialty markets.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and service, with support, an assigned High Net Worth (HNW) book of business for accounts over $50K in premium.

• Prepare new business and renewal submissions, including marketing, rating, proposal presentations, applications, and binder processes through policy issuance.

• Create applications, supplemental forms, binders, coverage summaries, Broker of Record forms, certificates, Evidence of Property, and Auto ID cards.

• Prepare and conduct high-level client renewal reviews.

• Stay current on industry trends, product developments, coverage updates, and emerging technologies.

• Meet agency-defined service and quality metrics.

• Ensure policy compliance and maintain confidentiality of company and client information.

• Assist with projects and other duties as assigned by management.

• Act as a team player by supporting colleagues and providing backup for other Account Managers as needed.

Preferred Skills:

• Working knowledge of AMS360 preferred.

• Highly organized with strong planning, multitasking, and time-management abilities.

• Commitment to continuous process improvement and operational efficiency.

• Ability to stay current with HNW insurance trends, continuing education requirements, and emerging AI and technology tools.

• Proficient in learning and using agency management systems, carrier portals, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), and Scribe.

• Ability to follow, maintain, and improve established procedures and workflows.

• Strong relationship-building skills with a professional, service-oriented approach.

• Adaptable, resourceful, and comfortable managing shifting priorities and additional responsibilities.

• Highly self-motivated, resilient, and committed to a strong work ethic.

Qualifications :

• 5+ years of HNW Personal Lines experience, including at least 3 years managing accounts with $50K+ in total premium.

• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License in good standing.

• Experience with leading HNW carriers, including Chubb, AIG, PURE, Cincinnati, and Berkley One, plus wholesale brokers for hard-to-place Excess & Surplus (E&S) Lines.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Commitment to continuous process improvement and team development.

• Able to work in Sacramento, CA. 

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
