Our mission is simple: lend a hand, restore hope, and build stronger families.Role OverviewThe Data Entry Clerk is the backbone of our programs. You'll help us track client services, donations, and volunteer hours so we can serve more people and meet grant reporting requirements. Accuracy and compassion matter here — every record represents a family we're helping.Key ResponsibilitiesClient & Program Data Entry: Enter client intake forms, service requests, food pantry visits, and case notes into our database with 98%+ accuracyDonation & Volunteer Tracking: Log donations, inventory, and volunteer hours for reporting to donors and grant agenciesRecords Management: Scan, file, and organize paper and electronic documents. Maintain confidential client filesReporting Support: Run weekly/monthly reports for program managers and funders. Identify and correct data discrepanciesFront Desk Support: Assist with phone calls and walk-ins as needed. Provide warm, respectful service to clientsRequirementsEducation: High school diploma or GED requiredExperience: 6+ months data entry, admin, or nonprofit experience preferredSkills: 45+ WPM typing, strong attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and databases/CRM. Training provided on our systemTraits: Organized, discreet, and empathetic. Ability to handle sensitive client information with confidentialityOther: Must pass background check.
