Develop competency in providing trauma informed and diversity awareness advocacy. Work to engage in a relationship with consumers, encouraging hope and working towards achieving personal recovery goals. Model personal responsibility for recovery, and engage in individualized activities that promote recovery, well‑being, and independence. Work to ensure the client maintains a connection with a provider while working towards their recovery. Collaborate with system partners, providers, and other invested individuals. Qualifications Must be in active recovery and maintenance. High school diploma or GED. Case management experience providing community outreach and engagement with traditionally resistant populations. Relevant knowledge of motivational interviewing, mental health and in recovery from substance misuse. Must be eligible to bill Medicaid.
