Delivers patient and donor care while providing operational flexibility, supporting new program implementation, ensuring service continuity, and enabling strategic growth across existing and future markets. Travel throughout the Versiti service area is required based on business needs.The target salary is based on internal averages. Versiti sets salary ranges aligned to local markets in which the job is performed. Full-time regular employes are eligible for Medical, Dental, and Vision Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO) and Holidays, Short- and Long-term disability, life insurance, 7% match dollar for dollar 401(k), voluntary programs, discount programs, others.ResponsibilitiesProvides therapeutic apheresis and cellular therapy services, including but not limited to Autologous and Allogeneic HPC and MNC product collections, extracorporeal photopheresis (ECP), and LDL apheresis, in accordance with established policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards.Provides regional clinical support across the Versiti service area to ensure continuity of patient and donor care, support staffing needs, facilitate new program implementation, and promote organizational growth initiatives. Travel requirements vary based on business needs and may comprise up to 30% of scheduled work time, including occasional overnight travel.Participate in quality assurance, continuous improvement, education, and competency activities, to support clinical excellence. Maintains competence through attendance at mandatory and other job-related educational opportunities.Collaborates with physicians, nurses, hospital personnel, and internal teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient and donor care.Supports research studies, new service implementations, and other departmental initiatives as applicableMaintains accurate and timely documentation within electronic medical record systems and other required documentation platforms.Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classificationParticipate in training new apheresis staffUnderstands and performs in accordance with all applicable regulatory and compliance requirementsComplies with all standard operating policies and proceduresQualificationsEducation Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's or Associate degree in Nursing requiredBachelor's Degree preferredExperience Minimum of 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse required, 2 years preferred requiredOne year apheresis experience or related filed preferredExperience in critical care, hematology/oncology, and/or dialysis preferredExperience with peripheral venipuncture and central venous access devices, preferred preferredExperience working in a regional nursing role, travel nursing assignment, or multi-site healthcare environment preferred. preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability and willingness to travel throughout the Versiti service area, including overnight travel as needed to support patient, donor, and operational needs.
