Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to understand the severity and frequency of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, different treatment options, and the importance of self-care practices.

• Regularly monitor and document client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Engage in collaborative care by working closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive support.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment, enhancing your clinical practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clientele will primarily consist of individuals coping with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You may also work with unique populations, such as homeless individuals, refugees, or victims of domestic abuse. Your role will focus on providing tailored interventions that foster healing and resilience in these vulnerable groups.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
