This is an onsite opportunity spanning both middle school Life Skills and high school Resource classrooms, giving you the chance to work with students at pivotal stages of their educational journey.

Qualifications and Experience Desired:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification in Kansas (SPED Cert in KS required)
• Previous experience working with Life Skills or Resource programs at the middle or high school level is highly valued
• Ability to tailor instruction and provide individualized support to meet varied student needs
• Strong collaboration skills for effective teamwork with teachers, aides, and support staff
• Organizational skills to manage caseloads and maintain compliance with educational documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and adaptive instruction to middle and high school students with diverse learning needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Communicate consistently with families and colleagues regarding student progress
• Keep detailed records, monitor student goals, and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
