Central Supply Clerk Schedule & Benefits

Central Supply Clerk Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous long-term care experience ordering supplies
• Computer knowledge
• Ability to work independently or as part of a group

Central Supply Clerk Responsibilities

• Fill requisitions from departments for routine supplies and equipment
• Stock supply rooms and nutrition rooms on each unit with medical supplies
• Ensure inventory is updated as required when receiving/issuing supplies and equipment
• Organize storage and catalog locations of supplies and equipment for efficient handling and to prevent deterioration
• Pass out ice water to residents, make beds, and answer residents' call lights
• Report all accidents and incidents you observe as soon as possible
• Report all changes in the resident's condition to the Charge Nurse or Unit Manager
• Answer phones as necessary
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Unit Manager, Director of Nursing, and Administrator
