IT Support Engineer (On-Site | Midtown Manhattan)

We're seeking an IT Support Engineer to join a dynamic corporate technology team supporting a fast-paced professional environment. This is a hands-on role where you'll troubleshoot complex technical issues, deploy new technology, and provide exceptional support to end users.

Location: Midtown Manhattan, NY

Work Arrangement: 100% On-Site $30 / hour

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be a key member of the IT team, ensuring employees have the technology and support they need to stay productive.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2/3 desktop and deskside support for Windows-based environments
• Administer Active Directory, including user accounts, groups, password resets, and permissions
• Support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint
• Troubleshoot Windows 10/11 operating systems, desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
• Configure, image, and deploy new computers and hardware
• Diagnose hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues
• Support remote access technologies and VPN connectivity
• Resolve issues involving Group Policy, file permissions, and user profiles
• Document incidents and resolutions using a ticketing system such as ServiceNow
• Escalate infrastructure and application issues when appropriate
• Participate in desktop refreshes, technology rollouts, and IT improvement initiatives
• Deliver outstanding customer service while supporting a demanding user community

What You Bring

• 3+ years of Desktop Support, Deskside Support, or IT Support experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Active Directory
• Windows 10 & Windows 11 administration and troubleshooting
• Microsoft 365 / Office 365 support
• Experience supporting Outlook and Exchange
• Familiarity with Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and networking fundamentals
• Experience with ServiceNow or another ITSM platform
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and customer service abilities

• Jamf
• Endpoint security tools
• Mobile Device Management (MDM)
• Imaging and deployment technologies
