Your Role and Responsibilities

• Carrying out thorough patient evaluations, recommending tests, and developing personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions independently or in partnership with physicians (as certified)
• Providing education to patients and families regarding prevention, wellness, and managing health concerns
• Prescribing treatment regimens and medication within the defined scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and overseeing chronic care management
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to guarantee comprehensive and seamless care
• Maintaining detailed and accurate records in electronic medical systems (EMR)

Education & Credentials

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of California
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to secure within 90 days)
