Full Charge Bookkeeper

Fit Recruiting is partnering with a well-established company in the aviation industry to identify a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join its growing accounting team in Mobile, Alabama. This is a great opportunity for an experienced bookkeeping professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and taking ownership of the day-to-day accounting functions. The new hire will partner with another accounting professional to support multiple companies and ensure accurate financial reporting. Salary ranges from $50K-$75K, depending on experience, plus insurance. Duties: Maintain the general ledger and record daily financial transactions Process accounts payable and manage invoice entry in QuickBooks Code and reconcile credit card transactions Handle intercompany billings and payments Process payroll and ensure payroll tax compliance Prepare payroll tax and excise tax filings Reconcile bank accounts and review financial statements for accuracy Requirements: 2+ years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper, in public accounting, or a similar accounting role Strong knowledge of GAAP Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills Accounting degree preferred but not required If you're looking for a stable company where your accounting expertise will make an impact, we'd love to connect with you. #J-18808-Ljbffr Fit Recruiting
