This role directly influences pipeline growth, brand authority, and customer acquisition by elevating visibility across traditional search and emerging AI ecosystems. You will operate at the intersection of technical SEO, content strategy, and AI search innovation, partnering with global stakeholders to influence how Genesys shows up in both search results and AI generated answers. This is a high visibility role with direct impact on digital growth strategy, offering the opportunity to shape enterprise scale search programs and expand expertise in next generation discovery platforms.Key Responsibilities:Own and execute a global SEO and GEO strategy that increases organic visibility, AI citation presence, and pipeline contribution across digital channelsDrive optimization of digital experiences for both traditional search engines and AI powered platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and CopilotLead keyword, topic cluster, and entity based research to expand content authority and improve discoverability across search and AI ecosystemsInfluence cross functional teams to align on search strategy, ensuring consistent execution across web, content, product marketing, and regional stakeholdersDeliver technical SEO recommendations that improve crawlability, indexing, site architecture, structured data, and Core Web Vitals performanceDesign and implement internal linking, on page optimization, and content structuring strategies that improve engagement and search rankingsBuild measurement frameworks that quantify AI search visibility, answer engine performance, and overall GEO effectivenessAnalyze performance data across platforms such as Google Analytics 4, Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs to identify growth opportunities and optimize strategyPartner with content and campaign teams to create search optimized, AI friendly content that supports the full customer journeyCommunicate insights and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders, influencing decisions that impact global digital growthRequired Qualifications:5 or more years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, or content strategy, preferably within a SaaS or technology environmentDeep expertise in technical SEO, on page optimization, content strategy, and search performance measurementStrong understanding of Generative Engine Optimization and AI driven search platforms and behaviorsHands on experience with enterprise SEO tools such as Google Analytics 4, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platformsWorking knowledge of HTML, CSS, website architecture, and technical SEO best practicesProven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that drive measurable business outcomesDemonstrated experience influencing cross functional stakeholders and aligning global teams on strategyStrong analytical, communication, and presentation skills with executive level exposurePreferred Qualifications:Experience developing strategies for AI search visibility, including citation tracking and answer engine optimizationBackground in enterprise scale website management or global digital marketing programsFamiliarity with tools such as Screaming Frog, Conductor, or ScalenutExperience mentoring team members or acting as a subject matter expert in SEO or digital discoverabilityCompensation:This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
