Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aerospace and defense location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $24.60 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and report policy violations or suspicious activity according to site guidelines. Support incident reporting, maintain required logs, and assist with directions, information requests, and other customer service needs during assigned shifts. Minimum Requirements: A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required. An active DoD Secret Clearance is required. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
