Work Environment

This is an onsite position that primarily involves providing therapy in patients' homes, allowing for a personalized care experience within a comfortable and familiar setting. As a full-time employee, you will be expected to manage a consistent schedule that runs from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand the objectives and requirements of each patient.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring high-quality, personalized care.
• Design and implement comprehensive treatment plans using a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to orthopedic conditions.
• Employ evidence-based practices to administer non-invasive treatments, focusing on enhancing mobility and minimizing the need for medications.
• Develop individualized fitness and wellness programs that address the specific needs and goals of patients.
• Monitor patient progress, evaluating treatment efficacy and adjusting strategies as necessary to maximize functional outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing guidance and motivation throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including healthcare providers and specialists, to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
• Maintain precise documentation of all services rendered in compliance with organizational standards and statutory requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will interact primarily with adult and senior populations who may be recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. Your ability to adapt therapies to meet diverse needs is critical as you work towards empowering patients to regain independence and improve their daily living activities.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida; must have no record of board or disciplinary actions.
• Proven clinical skills in manual therapy techniques and exercise programming.
• Competency in using electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings or home health environments.
• Demonstrated success in developing innovative treatment approaches tailored to individual patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits
