If you take pride in precision, enjoy solving problems, and want to be part of a company that values relationships, collaboration, and doing the right thing, we'd love to meet you.ResponsibilitiesInitiate domestic and international wire transactions through an automated funds transfer delivery systemProcess all wires received through the Federal Reserve Banking systemEvaluate and assess the relative risk of transfer requests per laws, regulations and bank policyAssist in ensuring that the accounts receiving credit are in agreement with the actual wire instructions received from the sending institutionEvaluate wire requests validating wire instructions and authorizationsPerform call-back processing to validate the authenticity of an outgoing transactionAssist in compiling daily stats relating to the Wire Room for daily settlementMaintain the correct balance between risk management and department efficiencyEnsure timely processing of wire requests and reply to customer inquiriesProcess new customer recurring wire setup in a timely mannerComplete OFAC security validation on required wiresAssist with department auditsAssist with daily work archivingAccountable for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to this position including the Univest Code of Conduct.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh School Diploma (or GED equivalent) with 3-5 years of experience in a financial institutionKnowledge of bank operating policies and procedures and State / Federal banking regulations with special emphasis on those impacting wire processing complianceExcellent customer service, written / verbal communication, and telephone skillsMust be well organized, detail oriented and able to communicate with various levels of ManagementAbility to handle multiple priorities independently and evaluate data to solve problemsSufficient computer skills overall, must include Outlook, Word, and ExcelAbility to function as an integral member of a TeamFlexibility and enthusiasm to work in many capacities within the departmentAct as a change agent, demonstrating a willingness to learn new systems, procedures, and business areasDemonstrated willingness to learn (systems, procedures etc.)Prior experience using Jack Henry, Synergy a plusWorking knowledge of rules and regulations pertaining to Wire Transfer regulationsOperate extremely well under pressureWage Range:The salary for this position ranges from $18.37 to $23.32Benefits Overview:Health Insurance: Medical, dental and vision coverage (single or family; begins the first of the month following start date)Retirement Plan: Participation in 401(k) plan with up to a 3% employer match after 6 months of employmentPaid Time Off (PTO): 15 days annually (prorated your first year)Short Term Disability: 12 weeks of sick time with a doctors note after 6 months of serviceHoliday Time Off: 11 paid holidaysWe offer company paid life insurance: as well as other supplemental insurancesTuition reimbursementEmployee Wellness programs: including fitness club discounts and fitness tracker discounts/ annual reimbursementDiscounts: on loan productsProfessional development trainingsAn Equal Opportunity Employer.
