Capital Markets Associate

Currently partnered with a $75bn asset manager looking to expand their liquid credit research team. The role will support fundamental credit investing across leveraged loans and high yield bonds, working closely with senior PMs on idea generation, underwriting, and portfolio positioning. This is a core investing seat with meaningful exposure to both primary and secondary markets, within a fundamentally driven, sector-focused investment process. Responsibilities Perform detailed fundamental credit analysis across software and broader TMT issuers Underwrite new investment opportunities across leveraged loans and high yield bonds Build and maintain models, including downside and stress scenarios Write investment memos and present investment ideas to the IC Conduct relative value analysis across issuers and capital structures Monitor existing portfolio positions, including earnings updates, news flow, and market technicals Requirements 2–3 years of experience in sell-side or buy-side credit research Direct experience with leveraged loans and/or high yield bonds strongly preferred Strong financial modeling and credit underwriting skillset Ability to assess capital structures, covenant packages, and downside risk #J-18808-Ljbffr Long Ridge Partners
