HR Coordinator (Recruitment and Operations)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on HR Coordinator to support recruiting and HR operations across our Americas workforce. This role has a strong emphasis on recruiting , interviewing onboarding for hourly and salaried positions. The ideal candidate will thrive on responsibility and be capable of adapting priorities seamlessly.

Experience within a manufacturing environment and hourly recruiting is preferred.

Location & schedule

Full-time, Monday-Friday, based on-site at ARDEX Americas scenic corporate campus in Center Township (400 ARDEX Park Drive, Aliquippa, PA 15001, complete with woodland walking trails and free parking! Candidates must be commutable to this location. Some flexible work options including WFH are available after a training period

What you will do

• Full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried roles; understand hiring manager needs, place adverts via ATS, screen candidates, and conduct initial interviews and recommend candidates for hiring manager interviews
• Schedule interviews and maintain timely and professional communication with candidates and hiring managers
• Proactively build relationships and represent ARDEX at local career fairs, high schools, hiring events, technical programs, and colleges
• Assist in identifying new ways to attract candidates through social media and local engagement
• Coordinate all onboarding activities, including background checks, drug screens, employment verifications, and new hire paperwork and compliance
• Support onboarding logistics and orientation across multiple locations
• Maintain employee records in HR systems with a high level of precision and attention to detail
• Support HR audits, research, run reporting (HRIS), surveys, and termination processing and documentation
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
• Support the Director of Culture, Talent Acquisition and Employee Development, with local and Global initiatives that support our Group-wide People and Culture Strategy

What We're Looking For

• Minimum two (2) years of HR experience together with recruitment and interviewing experience is essential
• Experience within a manufacturing environment is highly advantageous
• Experience with HRIS and Applicant tracking systems (ATS) experience is essential
• Knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and local employment laws, particularly regarding recruiting and hiring
• Proven high attention to detail and precision in maintaining accurate personnel records
• Proven organizational skills; able to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Confident, effective, engaging and credible presenter. Builds and maintains relationships easily.
• High levels of self-motivation, initiative, ideas, and problem-solving mindset
• Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) and listening skills
• Strong team player: collaborates effectively with a diverse team across different locations
• High ethical standards, integrity, confidentiality, diplomacy and accountability
• Proficient in MS Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred
• Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel - mostly locally
