Work Environment

This full-time position offers an onsite work setting, primarily focusing on home visits in Park Ridge and surrounding areas. As a PTA, you will be provided with the autonomy to manage your schedule while ensuring that each patient receives the highest standard of care tailored to their individual needs. Key Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in executing tailored treatment plans directly in patients' homes, ensuring adherence to established therapeutic goals.
• Conduct therapeutic exercises and functional training sessions to enhance patient strength, mobility, coordination, and balance, regularly adapting protocols as needed based on ongoing assessments.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, communicating any significant changes in condition to supervising Physical Therapists to inform treatment adjustments.
• Provide patient and family education on therapeutic exercises, mobility techniques, and safety tips, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of care strategies.
• Deliver compassionate, hands-on patient care while prioritizing safety protocols during therapy sessions to prevent injury and encourage optimal recovery.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of all patient interactions, progress notes, and care procedures using our electronic health record system.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a PTA at Clinica Recovery LLC, you will engage primarily with post-operative patients, individuals recovering from serious injuries, and clients managing conditions such as arthritis, stroke, and other mobility disorders. You will play a crucial role in helping these patients regain independence and improve their functional abilities through structured rehabilitation programs in a familiar setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in New Jersey.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant health-related field or completion of a PTA program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, as home visit coordination is a key component of this role.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, caregivers, and patients.
• Ability to work independently while managing an active caseload and fostering a positive patient experience.
• A patient-centered approach and a genuine compassion for improving the lives of those we serve.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a PTA, preferably in home health or outpatient settings.
• Familiarity with electronic health records systems for documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary range of $60,000 to $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
