Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, utilizing structured interviews and standardized assessment tools.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with adult clients facing diverse mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, and relationship issues. Our practice emphasizes a trauma-informed approach that recognizes and responds to the unique needs of individuals, paying careful attention to the effects of trauma on mental health and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid LCSW license in the state of Virginia is essential.

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, preferably working with a similar client population.

Additionally, training in specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) would be a strong asset.
