Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a caseload of clients, fostering rapport and maintaining professional boundaries.

• Conduct regular client meetings to assess progress, address concerns, and develop discharge plans as needed.

• Create and monitor recovery-oriented treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs.
\n
• Document treatment plans and progress notes accurately and timely in our electronic health record systems.

• Perform intake assessments to determine the appropriate therapeutic pathway for new clients.
\n
• Lead individual therapy sessions, implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
\n
• Engage in individual supervision sessions to discuss client cases and enhance clinical skills.
\n
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including physicians, social workers, and educational staff, to ensure comprehensive care.

• Maintain a growth mindset and actively engage in ongoing education and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on youth patients, including children and adolescents dealing with a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges. Our clinic is dedicated to client-driven therapy, where you will develop individualized treatment plans that empower youth and promote family involvement in the therapeutic process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia.

Compensation and Benefits\n
