Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver individual and couples therapy to clients of diverse age ranges, particularly children, adolescents, and their families.

• Maintain and document accurate client notes and records promptly using our electronic medical record (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with school staff and families to develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs, providing ongoing support and resources.

• Manage appointment scheduling efficiently while maintaining an updated calendar and client database.
\n
• Utilize a billing service that handles claims, client communications, and insurance inquiries, allowing you to focus on your therapeutic practice without administrative stress.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary client focus will be children and adolescents, in collaboration with their families. The role requires sensitivity to a range of clinical presentations including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and behavioral challenges typical within a school setting. This dynamic environment allows you to engage regularly with clients, teachers, and parents, creating a holistic therapeutic experience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Social Work or Clinical Psychology.

• Current and valid LCSW licensure, enabling you to practice independently.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to professional development, including specialized training and workshops.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to set appropriate therapeutic boundaries with clients.

• The availability to work a minimum of 20-25 hours per week, including two evenings weekly.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, previous experience providing therapy in school environments or extensive training in couple’s counseling will be highly regarded. We value therapists who bring unique perspectives, advanced skills, and a commitment to innovative treatment approaches.
