The role starts in early October and continues through December, with the option to shadow the current SLP before the leave begins, ensuring a smooth transition for both you and your students.

Key Qualifications:

• Current SLP licensure and SLP-CCC credentials required
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and independently
• Proficient in providing both consultative and direct SLP services
• Comfortable participating in in-person interviews and providing professional references

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy to a diverse caseload of 46 students in a high school setting
• Balance approximately 1,085 hours of consultative and 750 hours of direct services
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to develop and implement individualized student plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all services provided
• Engage in a smooth onboarding process, including a 1-2 week shadowing period prior to the official start date
• Fulfill the role three days per week (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday), approximately 20 hours, with some flexibility based on workload completion
