Address operational issues and concerns in a timely fashion.Duties and Responsibilities:Implements and directs hub safety programs and warehouse operational practicesConducts annual transportation cost analyses and takes corrective actionsConducts with the Ops team inventory control procedures, including reconciling inventory accounts, coordinating inventory returns and repairs, and assisting in product cycle countingConducts hub management meetings to communicate information and resolve problemsAnalyzes reports to identify potential operational deficiencies and take corrective actionsAnalyzes customer feedback procedures and develops methods to improve service quality using metrics.Implements and ensures consistent compliance with standard operating procedures, policies, internal audit controls, Sarbanes-Oxley controls and business management quality system requirementsUtilizes LEAN methodologies to develop and implement action plans to correct problem areas and optimize established levels of business performance objectives, service, productivity, and quality.Define service standards and KPI's for hub operationsContributes to preparation of branch annual budget, including forecast of capital expenditures.Helps Hubs Coordinate employee work assignments to achieve inbound and outbound service requirementsDirects achievement of performance objectives related to productivity, quality, service and safetyTrains and Coaches Hub Managers on Monitoring workflow, work completed, error rates and related metrics and take corrective action.Ensures procedures are observed, implemented and enforcedEnsures warehouse employees receive trainingMaintains positive employee relations and moraleAssists in developing and documenting warehouse processesWith assistance from Human Resources, carries out performance management actions, including hiring, firing, discipline and setting of pay rates for employeesDesired Qualifications:Experience in a business work environmentDemonstrated ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions and solve problems immediately.Must be team-oriented and have good interpersonal communication skills.Must have good analytical, problem solving, and organizational abilitiesAbility to multi-task, prioritize workload and work calmly under pressure.Exhibits the ability to work well with others and maintain organization between cross-related departments.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Must be willing to travelMust be able to operate a forklift; prior forklift certification preferred.Knowledge of the industry and market trendsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong business acumenProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsAn eye for attention to detailAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentExceptional analytical skills to sift through high volumes of data and informationRequirements:5 or more years of progressive experience managing operations in a business environment in a similar capacity listed in the duties and responsibilities aboveHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent; AA/AS degree in Business or related field preferredInvitation to Apply: Whether you're looking for full-time or part-time opportunities, we'd love to have you join our team.
