Location:

Hybrid position based in Brooklyn, NY or Lakewood, NJ.

Note:

Must have an active bar license in at least one U.S. state and 1+ year of directly relevant experience in estate planning and estate tax planning.

Job Description

• Advise individuals and families on estate planning strategies designed to preserve and transfer wealth.
• Develop and implement estate plans, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related planning documents.
• Assist clients with estate tax planning and strategies designed to minimize tax exposure.
• Analyze client financial and family circumstances and recommend appropriate planning strategies.
• Communicate directly with clients to understand objectives, explain legal options, and provide practical guidance.
• Collaborate with attorneys and other professionals on sophisticated estate planning and tax matters.
• Stay current on applicable federal and state estate, gift, and tax laws.
• Support related probate, trust administration, and post-mortem matters as needed.

Qualifications

• Active bar license in any U.S. state.
• 1+ year of estate planning experience.
• 1+ year of estate tax planning experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and client communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Strong judgment and a client-first approach.
