Easy Start Therapy, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in Port Orange, Florida. This full-time position, requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week, focuses on providing exceptional care to outpatient orthopedic patients, particularly those undergoing treatments related to spine surgery. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients to develop personalized treatment plans that target their specific needs and goals.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to implement effective interventions that promote healing, restore function, and improve overall health.
• Manage a full caseload of patients, ensuring high-quality care while minimizing paperwork to allow for more time spent with patients.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and orthopedic surgeons, to coordinate care and referral processes.
• Provide patients with education on their conditions, treatment plans, and the importance of exercise and lifestyle changes for recovery.
• Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately in compliance with state laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
• Engage in community outreach programs to promote health and wellness initiatives, demonstrating our commitment to the local community.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to organizational policies, including those regarding compliance and the ethical treatment of all patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on outpatient orthopedic patients, particularly those recovering from spine-related surgeries. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping individuals regain mobility and function. You will work closely with patients of various ages and backgrounds, tailoring treatment plans to improve their quality of life through personalized and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• A degree from an accredited physical therapy program, such as BSPT, MSPT, or DPT (for graduates from 2003 or later, a MSPT or DPT is required).
• Active and unrestricted physical therapy license in Florida, ensuring compliance with state regulations at all times.
• Current CPR certification, obtained during orientation or upon hire, with the requirement to maintain it throughout employment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, as well as familiarity with electronic medical record systems for patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience in outpatient orthopedic settings with a focus on spine care is preferred.
• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
• A track record of maintaining professional integrity and demonstrating a commitment to high standards of patient care.
