Work Environment

This full-time position will primarily take place in our outpatient office, offering a supportive and collaborative work environment. You will be working alongside two other experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), all dedicated to providing high-quality care. The workload involves a manageable caseload of one patient per hour, allowing you to focus on delivering personalized attention. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients' musculoskeletal conditions to develop personalized treatment plans that address their specific goals and requirements.
• Deliver tailored physical therapy treatments focusing on improving patients' mobility, strength, and overall health.
• Utilize a variety of intervention techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education to facilitate recovery.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on individualized feedback and outcomes.
• Encourage active participation from patients to inspire motivation and enhance their engagement in the rehabilitation process.
• Provide education and guidance on lifestyle modifications that promote overall health, strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care and treatment coordination.
• Maintain accurate and thorough records using EMR Software, particularly WebPT, to support effective communication with other team members and stakeholders.
• Constantly seek to improve clinical skills through ongoing education and adherence to best practices in physical therapy.
• Play an active role in promoting our services within the community, emphasizing preventive care and the importance of physical therapy in achieving optimal health outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work primarily focuses on patients with orthopedic conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. You will be responsible for crafting personalized rehabilitation strategies that not only aim to restore physical function but also educate patients about their conditions and how to manage them effectively for long-term health. Your insights will profoundly impact their recovery journeys, enabling them to return to their daily activities, work, and recreational pursuits.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Strong professional ethics, with a clean record devoid of disciplinary action.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques, with demonstrable experience in implementing exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Competence in developing individualized fitness and wellness plans based on patient assessments.
• A track record of utilizing evidence-based practices and interventions in patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
