Work Environment

The ideal candidate will work onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, which features advanced therapeutic equipment and technologies designed to enhance patient recovery. Our team operates within a structured schedule of Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify patients' goals and needs related to their orthopedic conditions.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing various therapeutic modalities to effectively improve patients' mobility and physical function.
• Administer exercise therapy, manual therapy, and other advanced techniques to enhance recovery and rehabilitation.
• Create and promote wellness programs that help patients adopt healthier lifestyles through tailored coaching on strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide holistic care to all patients, fostering a supportive and communicative environment.
• Motivate and educate patients on their conditions and rehabilitation processes to foster their engagement and commitment to recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve treating individuals with a range of orthopedic conditions, including musculoskeletal injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain disorders. The diverse patient population you engage with will require you to adapt your therapeutic approach to suit varying ages, backgrounds, and personal health goals. Building rapport and trust will be crucial for effectively guiding your clients through their recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution, with ongoing educational development in orthopedic specialties preferred.
• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida is required.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, particularly in treating patients with diverse musculoskeletal conditions.
• Demonstrated ability in conducting patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct patient care.
• Strong communication skills, allowing for effective interaction with patients, their families, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Proficiency in managing diverse patient personalities and tailoring engagement strategies accordingly.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of orthopedic rehabilitation experience is required, candidates with advanced degrees or specialized training in physical therapy will be given preferential consideration. Experience in a collaborative healthcare environment or familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems will enhance your adaptability within our facility.

Compensation and Benefits

Impact Physical Therapy offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000, complemented by performance-based bonuses.
