Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' medical histories and physical conditions to determine individualized treatment needs.
• Develop, implement, and direct personalized treatment programs aimed at restoring mobility and functionality, addressing specific challenges and goals.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, exercises, and modalities to promote healing, enhance strength, and increase range of motion.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting treatment plans, patient progress, and modifications as necessary.
• Monitor and assess patients regularly, adjusting treatment strategies to ensure optimal outcomes and recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols, exercises to perform at home, and lifestyle modifications to support recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with adults and seniors recovering from orthopedic surgeries—including joint replacements, fracture recoveries, and sports injuries—as well as individuals with chronic illnesses or musculoskeletal disorders. Your compassionate approach and hands-on manual therapy skills will play a pivotal role in empowering patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Must possess a valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• Strong foundational knowledge in orthopedic practices and therapeutic interventions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster therapeutic relationships with patients.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in an orthopedic or rehabilitation setting.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription tailored to diverse patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits
