Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' goals and tailor interventions accordingly.
• Manage a patient caseload with a focus on providing one-on-one treatment sessions, allowing for personalized attention.
• Formulate and implement comprehensive care plans based on evidence-based practices to enhance mobility and quality of life.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and modalities to alleviate pain and restore function.
• Design and adapt customized exercise programs that align with each patient's specific needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving health statuses.
• Document patient care services meticulously to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and to communicate effectively with the care team.
• Engage patients by providing education and motivation throughout recovery, fostering a sense of independence and self-efficacy.
• Work in conjunction with other healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists and physicians, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse population of patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic conditions affecting mobility. Your ability to connect with and inspire individuals during their rehabilitation journey is crucial, as many patients may be experiencing physical discomfort and emotional stress. You will employ your skills not only to promote physical restoration but also to provide emotional support and encouragement, helping patients regain confidence in their physical abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field; a Master's or Doctorate (DPT) is preferred.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• An unwavering commitment to professional ethics and an impeccable professional record with no disciplinary history.
• Strong manual therapy skills and extensive knowledge of therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation techniques.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to manage patient documentation effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Experience developing and executing individualized treatment plans that prioritize functional outcomes.
• Familiarity with productivity standards and billing practices specific to physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
