Revitalize Wellness Physical Therapy Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Daytona Beach, Florida. Work Environment

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist will work onsite within our modern Rehabilitation Center in Daytona Beach. Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients with functional limitations and developing customized treatment plans to address their specific needs.
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions that aim to restore mobility, functionality, and independence.
• Providing consultation to other healthcare providers regarding your patients' care continuum, advising on changes to treatment plans when necessary.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment protocols, and outcomes, ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards.
• Engaging actively with patients and their families in developing and executing discharge plans, including education on at-home exercises and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborating with fellow team members during interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient care strategies and outcomes.
• Monitoring patient progress over time and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on evaluations and patient feedback.
• Participating in departmental leadership initiatives such as community outreach programs, continuing education workshops, and mentoring junior staff members.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. This diverse patient population requires a compassionate approach and an understanding of various backgrounds and needs. Your ability to connect with each patient and tailor your treatment strategy accordingly will be essential in promoting their recovery journey.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates are required to possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state license in Physical Therapy to practice within Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients and team members.
• Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and basic computer applications.

Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will have at least two years of experience as a Physical Therapist with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation. Experience in developing community-based wellness programs or participating in clinical education for students is a plus.
