The Florida Hand Rehab Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Edgewater, Florida. This full-time role is primarily onsite, providing crucial outpatient therapy services within the home care setting. Work Environment

The work setting is in the vibrant community of Edgewater, Florida, where you will have the opportunity to provide therapy services in a home care environment. Here, you will work directly with patients in their residences, allowing for personalized care that reflects their unique challenges and lifestyles. The standard schedule offers flexibility, with options either Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM, 9 AM to 5 PM, or four 10-hour shifts, allowing you to achieve a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions to identify movement disorders and mobility limitations.
• Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation programs based on patient evaluations, focusing on functional improvement and pain management.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists and medical staff, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Instruct patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques and exercises to promote continual progress at home.
• Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to enhance recovery outcomes.
• Document treatment sessions meticulously and maintain up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients range widely in age and rehabilitation needs, from individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries to those with chronic conditions affecting their mobility. You will work closely with diverse populations, ensuring your therapy approaches can be tailored to meet varied recovery goals. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required; further education is preferred.
• A valid Florida Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain licensure.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in outpatient therapy or home care settings is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
