Work Environment

This role is performed onsite at our modern rehabilitation center in Oak Hill, which is known for its welcoming and friendly atmosphere. As part of our outpatient team, you will work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a well-structured work-life balance. Our facility is designed with patient comfort and engagement in mind, featuring private treatment rooms, open exercise spaces, and cutting-edge rehabilitation equipment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Fit Life, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients to establish baselines for treatment and gauge recovery progress.
• Implementing hands-on therapy techniques and evidence-based interventions tailored to individual patient needs.
• Creating and adapting personalized treatment plans that address injuries, chronic conditions, and post-surgical recovery.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress meticulously, allowing for timely adjustments to treatment plans.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians and occupational therapists, to optimize patient care.
• Educating patients about their conditions and the recovery process, empowering them to take control of their rehabilitation.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming therapy environment while adhering to all health regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will provide services to a diverse population, including individuals recovering from surgery or injury, athletes requiring rehabilitation, and patients managing chronic conditions such as arthritis or back pain. You will work with both adults and seniors, developing a keen understanding of their unique needs and recovery goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• An active or eligibility for a Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate patient interaction and teamwork.
• A dedication to continuous education and staying current with the latest industry practices.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a licensed physical therapist, particularly in an outpatient setting.
• Experience in developing treatment plans for a broad scope of musculoskeletal conditions.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline documentation and patient tracking.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $85,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
