Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Full-time availability is ideal, with a consistent 35-hour work week. Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Valid Alabama SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start date
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, but not required
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate within interdisciplinary teams
• Commitment to fostering communication skills and supporting diverse student populations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans; track and document student progress
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to maximize student outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to individualized goal setting
• Provide direct therapy services onsite, adapting approaches for student needs and school requirements
• Maintain consistent, clear records in accordance with state and district guidelines
