Step into an impactful contract opportunity as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving students for the 2026-2027 academic year. Based near Madison, AL, this onsite, full-time position offers the chance to support educational teams and make a real difference in children’s lives.

As a valued SLP, you’ll work collaboratively with educators and administrators to assess and treat students across varying grade levels—exact caseloads will be discussed during the interview process. This role begins July 27, 2026, and continues through May 28, 2027, giving you the entire school year to truly connect with your students.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Active state license to practice as an SLP in Alabama (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
• Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt therapy approaches to diverse learner needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
• Conduct evaluations and participate in team meetings to develop individualized education plans
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster student progress
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, assessments, and progress notes
• Adapt therapy materials and strategies to match each student's unique learning profile
