Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Active state licensure to practice as an SLP in Alabama (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds will be considered
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt and support diverse caseloads across grade levels

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, adjusting techniques to individual needs
• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support each student’s goals
• Complete all required documentation, IEPs, and progress reports in accordance with school policies
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive school culture
• As caseload specifics will be determined post-interview, flexibility and adaptability are key
