A well-established printing and packaging manufacturer in the Winston-Salem, NC area is conducting a confidential search for an experienced Die Cutter Operator to join its 2nd-shift production team.

This is a priority opening for someone with hands-on die-cutting experience who can independently handle machine setup, changeovers, production runs, quality checks, and troubleshooting. Additional company information will be shared with qualified candidates during the interview process.

• Set up and operate production die-cutting equipment.

• Perform machine setups, changeovers, and adjustments based on job specifications.

• Install and properly position dies, tooling, and production materials.

• Read and follow job tickets, production specifications, and work instructions.

• Monitor machine performance and finished-product quality throughout each run.

• Inspect work for accurate cutting, scoring, stripping, registration, and overall quality.

• Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain production and quality standards.

• Troubleshoot mechanical and production issues to minimize downtime and waste.

• Complete required production and quality documentation.

• Work with production, quality, maintenance, and other departments to keep jobs on schedule.

• Follow all plant safety procedures and equipment operating requirements.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Assist with routine operator maintenance and communicate equipment problems when needed.

• Previous hands-on experience operating production die-cutting equipment.

• Printing, folding carton, packaging, or related manufacturing experience strongly preferred.

• Ability to independently perform setups and changeovers.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.

• Experience identifying and correcting die-cutting quality issues.

• Understanding of cutting, scoring, stripping, registration, and finished-product quality.

• Ability to read job specifications and follow production procedures.

• Dependable attendance and availability to work 2nd shift.

• Strong focus on safety, quality, productivity, and reducing waste.

• Folding carton or paperboard packaging experience [Confirm].

• Experience in a commercial printing or packaging manufacturing environment.

• Experience operating high-speed production die-cutting equipment.

• Familiarity with production documentation and quality systems.
