Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments to identify patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans aimed at maximizing mobility and function.
• Manage a caseload effectively, attending to one patient at a time to ensure high-quality, focused care.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques, exercise programs, and modalities suitable for orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients on alternative solutions to medication and surgical interventions, focusing on promoting self-management and prevention strategies.
• Foster strong relationships with patients, motivating them throughout their treatment and promoting a healthy lifestyle through improved strength, flexibility, and overall wellness.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to enhance the quality and effectiveness of patient care.
• Maintain meticulous records of treatments and communications, adhering to compliance and best practice standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries or surgeries, including but not limited to joint replacements, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. We focus on delivering empathetic care aimed at restoring our clients' physical capabilities and encouraging their active participation in rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and hold current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• A clean record with no disciplinary actions or board actions related to licensure is required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency in utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT, for documentation and treatment planning.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices and proficiency in manual therapy techniques.
• Experience developing and leading exercise regimens specific to rehabilitation needs.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
