Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions, determining individual treatment plans based on clinical assessment and medical prescriptions.
• Deliver direct patient care that includes manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise programs, and patient education to enhance mobility and function.
• Document patient progress meticulously, adhering to both regulatory standards and corporate policies to ensure accurate records of care provided.
• Engage in case consultations with medical staff and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate and optimize patient care workflows.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, helping to refine processes that enhance patient satisfaction and treatment outcomes.
• Actively mentor students and assist in collaborative training efforts within the department to promote professional development among peers.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to inform treatment plans, staying updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients suffering from orthopedic issues, including sports injuries, joint replacements, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Our diverse patient demographics range from adolescents to seniors, including those with distinct cultural backgrounds and varying physical abilities. Your role will emphasize creating personalized rehabilitation programs that respect each individual's unique recovery journey and goals.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution (Required).
• Active and current California Physical Therapy License (Required).
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably with an orthopedic focus.

Preferred Experience

• Certification in CPR (Preferred).
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) or other patient management systems.

Compensation and Benefits
