Associate Attorney, Tax

Overview Our client is a specialized insurance organization focused on developing innovative risk transfer solutions that support complex financial and commercial transactions. Due to significant growth within its tax insurance practice, our client is seeking an Associate Tax Attorney to support underwriting, due diligence, transaction execution, and client engagement for sophisticated tax insurance placements. This role offers the opportunity to work on highly technical transactions alongside experienced underwriting, legal, engineering, and finance professionals while building expertise in a rapidly growing specialty insurance market. Responsibilities Review legal, financial, and tax documentation to support underwriting decisions and complete transaction due diligence for complex insurance placements. Coordinate directly with brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders to manage underwriting workflow, collect required documentation, prepare policy documentation, and ensure transactions progress efficiently. Monitor regulatory and legislative developments affecting tax-related transactions while maintaining accurate underwriting records, documentation, and compliance requirements. Qualifications Law degree (JD and/or LLM Taxation) or CPA preferred 2–5 years of experience within a law firm, Big Four/public accounting firm, financial advisory firm, or similar professional services environment involving complex tax or transactional work. Strong understanding of tax law, transaction structuring, mergers & acquisitions tax, or related legal and financial analysis. Insurance experience is helpful but not required. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple complex transactions simultaneously. #J-18808-Ljbffr Galecki Search Associates
