What You'll Do

Provide postpartum and mother-baby care, including couplet care for new mothers and infants
Monitor and assess mother and newborn status, providing education and reassurance
Administer medications, IVs, and perform IV start skills
Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure smooth transitions from labor to postpartum care
Maintain accurate documentation using Epic electronic health records
Support patient comfort and safety during night shifts
Follow all hospital protocols and safety guidelines

What You Need

Required:

Ohio RN license
BLS certification
IV certification and IV start skills
Minimum 2 years postpartum nursing experience

Preferred:

Previous travel nursing experience
Labor & delivery experience
Knowledge of Epic electronic health records
