Certifications: BLS required
Experience: Oncology preferred but not required; EPIC charting experience mandatory
Pay Rate: $59.18/hour

What You'll Do
- Float to various Oncology Medical-Surgical units as needed
- Provide patient-centered care for oncology and non-oncology diagnoses, including surgical recovery, COPD, sepsis, and more
- Manage medication administration, including IV therapies, blood products, and cardiac drips
- Monitor and interpret telemetry for dysrhythmias and cardiac emergencies
- Support respiratory needs, including CPAP, BIPAP, and oxygen therapy
- Ensure patient safety within a secure corrections environment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including pharmacy, physical therapy, radiology, and social services
What You Need
- Valid Ohio RN license
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 1 year of Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience
- EPIC charting experience required
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
About the Assignment This role is based in a secure corrections unit serving Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections inmates. The unit handles a variety of active oncology treatments, surgical admissions, and complex medical conditions. You'll be part of a collaborative team maintaining safety and providing high-quality care in a controlled environment.
