Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the severity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms to inform treatment planning.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clients’ specific needs and goals, using a client-centered approach.
\n
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate client progress.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders and treatment options, promoting self-care practices to enhance their mental resilience.

• Continuously monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize therapeutic outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and holistic care for clients.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in mental health to inform best practices and improve treatment strategies.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client documentation as mandated by legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring high standards of privacy and professionalism.

• Engage actively in professional development activities, including case consultations and team meetings, to foster a culture of learning.

• Advocate for clients, addressing mental health stigma, and ensuring their needs are met within the healthcare system.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Your work will also encompass providing support to vulnerable populations, including members of the homeless community, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. This diverse client focus requires adaptability, sensitivity, and a commitment to delivering culturally competent care.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Compensation and Benefits\n

• The annual salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
