Pre/Post Cath Lab RN – Outpatient Cardiac/EP/IR

Title: Pre/Post Cath Lab RN – Outpatient Cardiac/EP/IR

Schedule: Shift: 4x9 rotating schedule — start times: 06:00, 07:00, 08:00, or 12:00 - 48 hours guaranteed

Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 or 26 weeks

Requirements: License: NC or Compact license Certifications: BLS, ACLS Experience: Minimum of 3 years pre/post cath lab experience (considering sheath pull + cardiac medication experience) EMR: EPIC Skills: IV starts, cardiac medication administration, monitoring dysrhythmias, sheath removal, management of vascular access and closure devices

Roles & Responsibilities: Assess and prepare patients for outpatient cardiac and radiology procedures. Administer pre-procedure medications and monitor recovery. Perform IV starts and ensure safe patient discharges. Manage post-procedural care including sheath removal and monitoring. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for seamless patient care.
