Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab

Interventional Cath Lab Registered Nurse

Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 4 days/week (typical 07:30–18:00); some early starts (06:30–17:00); one late shift per week.

Assignment Details: Daily census: ~30 patients; ~5 procedure rooms. Call: 1 night/week. Weekend requirement: 1 weekend every other month.

Requirements: Minimum 2 years relevant experience. Current NC or compact nursing license (pending acceptable for submittal). Certifications: ACLS, BLS. Core clinical skills: Diagnostic & interventional cardiac catheterizations (left/right heart cath, PCI). Sheath management/removal, topical hemostasis. Hemodynamic monitoring (Swan-Ganz/Pulmonary artery lines). IABP and Impella support. Procedural sedation monitoring and reversal agents. IV access/infusions including vasopressors; ACT monitoring. Rhythm interpretation and cardioversion. Preferred skills: Structural procedures (TAVR, ASD closures, Watchman), valvuloplasty. Endovascular/vascular interventions, carotid stenting, stent grafts. Vascular closure devices (Perclose, StarClose), advanced vascular imaging/angiography.

Compliance / Notes: Orientation: 24 hours (plus required pre-start modules, ~8–10 hours). Interview requirement: Candidate must provide availability for next 72 hours when submitting. COVID-19 vaccine: Not required; flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only).
