Trademark Associate Prosecution

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Trademark Associate (Prosecution) for its Washington, DC office. The successful candidate will work with a team of distinguished attorneys to provide strategic counsel on trademark and copyright matters, including prosecution, enforcement, and litigation. Duties Advise clients on U.S. and foreign trademark counseling, clearance, and prosecution. Review clearance searches and prepare responses to PTO office actions. Prepare and respond to cease and desist letters and handle enforcement matters. Manage domain name disputes, UDRP actions, and TTAB proceedings. Engage in matters related to trademarks and social media platforms. Requirements 2-4 years of experience in trademark counseling and prosecution. Experience in copyright law. Active membership in the state bar and compliance with CLE requirements. Superior writing skills and excellent academic credentials. Strong analytical skills for complex legal analysis. Effective communication with diverse clients and team members. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Active state bar membership.
