Senior Director, Global Compensation & Benefits

LaSalle Network is partnering with our client, a global leader in the logistics space, to hire a Senior Director, Global Compensation & Benefits to help build and scale a high-impact Total Rewards function in a rapidly growing team. This Senior Director, Global Compensation & Benefits opportunity is based in Itasca, IL and offers a hybrid work environment, strong visibility, and meaningful influence with senior leadership. In this role, the Senior Director, Global Compensation & Benefits will lead a compensation-first agenda, driving pay-for-performance, executive compensation support, and global benefits strategy while strengthening programs, governance, and vendor partnerships during a major growth phase. Responsibilities Assess current compensation structures and identify opportunities to streamline programs, processes, and governance. Develop and execute a compensation roadmap with clear project plans, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder alignment. Lead and influence pay-for-performance programs, incentive initiatives (short- and long-term), and data-driven recommendations to leadership. Support executive compensation strategy, including leadership advising and board-related compensation activities. Provide strategic oversight of U.S. and global benefits strategy, including plan design, cost management, and vendor performance. Partner on major compensation and benefits technology/vendor initiatives, including implementation planning and accountability. Operate as a player-coach leader, remaining hands-on while developing and elevating an existing team in a matrixed environment. Qualifications 10+ years of progressive compensation and benefits experience, with compensation as a primary strength. Demonstrated leadership experience within a complex, matrixed organization and ability to influence without direct authority. Experience designing and/or leading pay-for-performance and incentive compensation programs. Benefits leadership experience, including vendor oversight, plan performance, and cost management (U.S. and/or global). Executive presence and the ability to advise senior leaders through ambiguity, change, and competing priorities. Highly data-driven approach, comfortable using analytics to shape strategy and decisions. Experience supporting executive compensation and partnering on compensation governance activities. Employment Type: Direct Hire Compensation: $200,000-240,000 annually Benefits (Direct Hire): Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance Bonus Eligibility: Eligible to earn discretionary bonus.
