Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' and families' psychosocial needs, developing effective care plans tailored to their unique situations.

• Efficiently organize and prioritize your workflow by continuously evaluating the requirements of new, ongoing, and discharging patients in your care.

• Diagnose and provide treatment for a variety of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders, using evidence-based practices and tailored therapeutic techniques.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that encompass both short-term and long-term goals for each client.

• Utilize brief solution-focused therapy methodologies and harm reduction strategies, as appropriate, to empower clients seeking positive change.

• Provide supportive interventions during crises, bereavement, and other significant life events, fostering resilience and recovery.

• Strictly adhere to organizational policies and industry standards, ensuring the safety and well-being of all clients and staff.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a culturally diverse population, addressing a wide range of mental health concerns from anxiety and depression to trauma-related disorders. This role requires sensitivity and awareness of the various social determinants affecting mental health in the community. You will engage with clients from different backgrounds, ensuring that cultural competency is at the forefront of your therapeutic practice.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of three years of relevant experience in mental health counseling.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or an equivalent credential.

• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with other healthcare professionals and clients.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a client-centered approach towards therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

While the primary qualifications include the requisite licensing and education, the ideal candidate may also have prior experience in teletherapy or working within a community health clinic setting. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms will also be beneficial in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
