Automotive Service Advisor
VIP Auto Repair is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our growing team. As a top-rated CARFAX service center, VIP Auto Repair is committed to delivering honest recommendations, high-quality repairs, and an exceptional customer experience. We are looking for a Service Advisor who can build trust with customers, communicate clearly, and help guide them through the repair process while supporting our technicians and shop operations.
What You'll Do
As a Service Advisor, you will act as the primary point of contact between customers and our service team, ensuring customers understand their vehicle needs while delivering a professional and positive experience. Responsibilities include:
- Greet customers and provide a welcoming, professional experience
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues
- Inspect vehicles and identify necessary repairs and maintenance when needed
- Communicate repair recommendations clearly and honestly
- Prepare estimates and review repair options with customers
- Coordinate workflow between technicians and customers
- Provide updates on repair progress and timelines
- Ensure a smooth and organized vehicle check-in and check-out process
- Maintain strong customer relationships and build long-term trust
- Help maintain shop efficiency and workflow
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is organized, personable, and able to communicate technical information clearly. Ideal candidates will have:
- Customer service experience (automotive service advising experience preferred but not necessary)
- Strong communication and people skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills
- A positive attitude and team-first mindset
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems (or willingness to learn)
- Valid driver's license
